"Intelligent food" cafe to open in central London
Juan Santa Cruz will open Nathalie in London’s Hanover Square in late October, described as a ‘revolutionary’ take-out restaurant.
Open from breakfast through to dinner, Nathalie will serve “intelligent” convenience food, according to Santa Cruz, including freshly pressed juices and beef, chicken and fish dishes inspired by those at Casa Cruz and Isabel.
The restaurant offer hundreds of variations of meals on offer, all of can be chosen through its app. Customers pick up their sustainable ‘Cruz box’ made from compostable plant-based material, which is then filled with their choice of meal.
“People love what we offer in these restaurants but Nathalie is all about convenience,” he says. “You don’t have to dress up and it’s there to service your every need. It’s time for everybody to experience what’s on offer from us.”
“Nathalie is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time because when I worked on Wall Street I was always looking for a quick healthy lunch option I could take back to the office."
“It’s healthy, intelligent food and very good coffee for busy people, with an element of design in every aspect."
The venue will offer a range of food items to take home as well as homeware items designed by Santa Cruz, including salt and pepper grinders, cutlery sets, napkins and oil-lamps.
