The husband and wife team are launching Caractère - (‘character’ in French) – in Notting Hill on 4 October.
Roux is the daughter of chef Michel Roux Jr and granddaughter of Albert Roux, while Ferrari has been head chef at the family restaurant Le Gavroche for the past three years.
The launch means Roux is the third generation of her family to operate a restaurant in the UK.
The couple say the menu will combine their love of classic French and Italian food, serving more refined versions of dishes they cook for each other at home.
It will be divided in to six ‘character traits’ with up to three dishes to choose from each section.
These will include seared mackerel with confit beetroot, black cardamom and parsley condiment; ox tail ravioli, beef consommé, bone marrow and fresh herbs; and whole roasted figs in the leaf, gateau basque with extra thick double cream.
There’ll also be a celeriac Cacio e Pepe with extra-aged balsamic vinegar, which Roux says is her ‘desert island dish’.
The restaurant will open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday.
Diners will be able to order a la carte or from a £78 tasting menu (£150 with wines), which is made up of a dish from each trait. There’ll also be a three-course mid-week lunch for £39, including coffee.
