The Ivy Collection will launch an all-day, two-storey brasserie in Canada Square Park this autumn.

The Ivy in the Park will launch in the Canary Wharf park, which is a space often used for hosting events.

Spanning two floors, and comprising 146 covers and two terraces, the restaurant will serve its signature British dishes from the menu used across the group’s sites, created by executive chef Sean Burbidge.

Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, the menus will include the likes of kippers with parsley; buttermilk pancakes with berries and strawberry sauce; The Ivy’s signature shepherd’s pie; chicken Milanese; crab linguine; and apple tart fine.

“We are excited to be bringing The Ivy Collection to Canary Wharf this autumn, opening a brasserie right in the heart of Canada Square,” says Baton Berisha, director of operations at The Ivy Collection.

“The Estate is undergoing a series of exciting developments at this time and we can’t wait to be a part of this.”

The Ivy launched 1917 and was bought by Caring alongside five sites in the Caprice Holdings group for more than £20m in 2005.

Its first spin-off, Ivy Market Grill, opened in Covent Garden at the end of 2014, followed less than give months later by a second in Chelsea.

The Ivy Collection now operates 30 sites nationwide, with more in the pipeline.

The Ivy in the Park will become part of the Canary Wharf Group’s urban regeneration project, The Canary Wharf Estate. When complete it will comprise a number of shopping malls, and the Wood Wharf district which will create 3,600 new homes, a GP and a primary school.
