The Tea Room is the second in the Laura Ashley portfolio, and following its rebrand the hotel will be its third, alongside Laura Ashley The Manor in Borehamwood and Laura Ashley The Belsfield near Lake Windermere.
The new Tea Room opened this week at Burnham Beeches Hotel, offering classic British afternoon tea menu items.
A selection of finger sandwiches are available, filled with the likes of cucumber, cream cheese and dill; Wiltshire ham with grain mustard; and smoked salmon with lemon butter.
A rotation selection of cakes and patisserie are served, created by head pastry chef Laura Zilio, and a full afternoon tea is also available, comprising scones with jam and clotted cream, and the option of prosecco or champagne.
In keeping with the brand’s aesthetic, the high-ceilinged, lilac-painted Tea Room features products from Laura Ashley’s homeware ranges, including floral printed furnishings; mirrors; ornaments; and vintage teapots.
Followings its rebrand in spring 2019, the hotel’s 82 bedrooms will be refurbished in line with the brand, and will include more items from the store's homeware range, with British fabrics throughout.
“We are delighted to launch Laura Ashley The Tea Room at Burnham Beeches Hotel,” says Alex Robertson, general manager of Burnham Beeches Hotel.
“It has been very exciting to see the project come to fruition after some extensive design work and implementation with quality workmanship and we are looking forward to welcoming guests to a whole new experience at Burnham Beeches Hotel.”
