The dining room will shut its doors after service on 19 August, according to the South China Morning Post's Style magazine.
The 90-cover restaurant was the chef’s first foray in to Hong Kong when it opened at the LKF Hotel in 2014, serving dishes from its London counterpart using imported British ingredients.
Dining Concepts, the chef’s Hong Kong restaurant partners, told Style the decision came after the hotel closed last year ahead of being redeveloped in to offices.
However, the restaurant is set to relaunch next year in a new Hong Kong location.
“I can advise we will be reopening Bread Street Kitchen & Bar in first quarter [of] 2019 in a spectacular new space, which I cannot divulge at this stage,” Dining Concept’s marketing director Garry Bissett told Style.
The original Bread Street Kitchen opened in London in 2011 and there are now five worldwide, in Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai.
Ramsay also runs a London House pub and grill in Hong Kong, and will launch a Maze Grill in October.
Back in the UK the chef is preparing to close the original London Maze after its parent company Kavalake Ltd reported pre-tax losses of £3.8m for the year to 31 August 2017.
The restaurant will shut in January 2019 before relaunching as a new concept later in the year.
