The Fitzrovia restaurant opened on 21 June but was forced to close its doors on 1 July after less than two weeks of trading over issues with its state-of-the-art extraction system.
The restaurant will reopen on Monday 23 July.
The 85-cover restaurant, which has a focus on live fire cooking, has a large grill in the centre of the dining room.
The company had installed an environmentally-friendly heat-recovery system for it as part of its commitment to sustainability, but ongoing problems with it forced the restaurant to close.
Writing on its website the company says: "Aiming to be environmentally responsible, we've installed a state of the art heat-recovery system. It was an exercise in optimism, which unfortunately failed, and we now need to go back to the old technology. Heartbreaking, but had to be done. We are sorry about the inconvenience, and can't wait to share our beautiful new creation with you soon!”
The restaurant, which is the sixth in the Ottolenghi group, is headed up by former Grain Store head chef Neil Campbell and Ottolenghi’s development chef Calvin con Niebel.
