The Belrose to launch with restaurant and onsite microbrewery

The team behind Brixton’s Homegrown health café is launching a pub, microbrewery and Italian restaurant in Belsize Park next month.

The Collective MJMK LLP will launch The Belrose on Haverstock Hill, comprising a, 80-cover dining room; 40-cover garden space; and a 15-cover private area, which will be available for hire.

Alongside the restaurant, an onsite microbrewery will produce an IPA that can be ordered from the bar, alongside a selection of natural wines and international beers.

The all-day Italian menu will serve a selection of pizzas made with local produce combined with Italian ingredients, cooked in a central clay oven. Toppings will include the likes of  Tuscan sausage with Stichelton; prosciutto with pecorino, tomato and rocket; and roasted red peppers with smoked anchovy.

Small plates and charcuterie will be on the menu, including roasted formaggio with smoked paprika and sourdough; and burrata with blood orange, shaved fennel and spicy hazelnut.

Larger dishes will include ribeye tagliata with rocket and smoked sea salt; and tagliatelle with oxtail ragu.

Weekend brunches and Sunday roasts will also be available.

The Collective MJMK LLP comprises Marco Mendes; Jake Kasumov; and Reza Merchant. The team has a background in hospitality as well as creation of co-living spaces, and currently operates S11 Bar; and Homegrown. It will launch Casa do Frango, a Portuguese chicken concept, at London Bridge this summer.
