Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards: The red carpet

The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards were celebrated in style at the Hurlingham Club in London last night (11 June). Here's a taste of who was there.

Tom Brown from Cornerstone and Roy Brett from Ondine

Brown celebrated a double win, being named both Chef to Watch and also seeing his debut restaurant Cornerstone named One to Watch. Roy Brett's Edinburgh seafood restaurant Ondine was names Best Restaurant in Scotland.

Gareth Ward and Amelia Eriksson, Ynyshir

The pair saw their edgy, Asian-influenced venue named Best in Wales.  

Jonny Bone and Clare Smyth, Sore by Clare Smyth

Core by Clare Smyth in Notting hill place at number four and also one The Service Award

José Etura and Nieves Barragan Mohacho, Sabor

Opened lat last year, Sabor placed at number two and its chef and co-owner Nieves Barragán Mohacho was also named Chefs' Chef of the Year.

Jyotin and Karam Sethi, JKS Restaurants

The three siblings behind Gymkhana, Trishna and the more recently opened Brigadiers collectively received the Restaurateur of the Year award.

Claude Bosi's Bibendum restaurant in Chelsea placed number 11

Robin and Sarah Gill, The Dairy

The pair's The Dairy restaurant in Clapham was ranked at 73. 

Devina and Harneet and Baweja, Gunpowder
