Hedone Bakery officially launched two days ago, offering goods for the public to collect from Bermondsey wine shop Dynamic Vines, as well as wholesale every day.
The move will see a much larger range of goods available. An Instagram page for the new bakery shows a selection of the bread and patisserie on offer, including vanilla, pistachio, strawberry and Paris-Brest flavoured choux pastries; cinnamon buns; mango and coconut cake; matcha and saffron cake with grapefruit jelly.
Jonsson’s sourdough bread - considered by many to be the best in the capital - will also be available alongside rye bread and baguettes.
The Swedish food blogger-turned-chef has been running a bakery in his Chiswick restaurant’s basement for a number of years, selling thousands of loaves of bread a week to some of London’s best known restaurants.
The Michelin-starred restaurant goes to extreme lengths to secure top quality produce and is currently ranked number 10 on Restaurant’s list of the top 100 restaurants in the country and 60 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ 51-100 list.
