Made in Chelsea stars launch vegan restaurant with City Pub Company

Made in Chelsea stars Lucy and Tiffany Watson are launching a vegan restaurant through their father’s pub brand City Pub Company.

The reality TV celebrities’ restaurant will open on the site of a former Strada restaurant in Parsons Green on 1 May.

It will join the likes of The Three Crowns and The Cat & Mutton, both in Shoreditch, and The Phene in Chelsea (often seen on the reality TV show) in City Pub Company’s portfolio.

Dishes will include vegan chicken bites made from jackfruit with a hemp and sunflower crumb; cheeseburgers using bean patties and cheese made from cashew nuts; and fish and chips comprising breaded banana blossom and cashew tartare sauce.

Drinks will include cocktails such as rose petal Martini; and a rhubarb royal. A selection of mocktails and cold pressed juices will also be on offer, as well as turmeric and wheatgrass power shots.

Interiors will feature polished plaster walls, neon accents, and a folding conservatory that can be made into a terrace for the warmer months.

The Watsons hope to use the space to host vegan cookery demonstrations and yoga classes.

Clive Watson has previously said that he intended to open more vegan pubs in locations including the City of London, to cater to the increasing market of bankers who take an interest in healthy living.

The publican also says he plans to increase the number of vegan options across City Pub’s 33-strong portfolio.
