An imitation street food concept is amongst three new arrivals to Paddington development
Huckster’s 4,700sq ft site will take on the guise of a street food collective and offer a variety of food options under its own different brands. These include short rib brioche burgers from True Burgers; hot chicken wings from Mofo; chips with a variety of toppings from Rumbl; vegan wonton soup from Wonton Willy’s; sourdough pizzas from Crooked Peel; and Hong Kong-inspired bubble waffle cones with ice cream from Bubble Gods.
The multi-level concept will have a cocktail bar and a karaoke bar.
Alongside Huckster, Californian-inspired poke restaurant Lords of Poke will open its second permanent outpost at the new development. The restaurant, which secured its first site in Peckham Levels last year, serves sustainable fish and rice bowls.
Grab’n’go Italian restaurant chain Coco di Mama has chosen Paddington Central to open its 21st site, serving six daily pasta dishes and a rotating menu of specials.
The three new arrivals, all signed by property company British Land, are part of a plan to transform the area into a seven-day canalside destination in preparation for the arrival of the new Elizabeth tube line.
The new additions to the area will join the likes of Antipodean restaurants Darcie & May Green; street food location Pergola Paddington; and seafood specialist London Shell Co.
