The DogHouse will open on a 3.25 acre site adjacent to brewery’s headquarters in Aberdeenshire, Scotland in the first half of 2019.
The 22-room site will feature in-room beer taps and beer fridge's built in to showers, while some rooms will overlook the brewery itself.
BrewDog says the hotel will offer the ‘ultimate immersive beer experience’.
“The DogHouse is our gift to passionate craft beer fans making the pilgrimage to our brewery in Aberdeenshire,” says BrewDog co-founder James Watt.
“The idea of opening a beer hotel has always been high on our agenda, and now we are finally able to realise that dream, right here at our HQ.
“This will be the ultimate destination for craft beer fans seeking hops with their holidays. This is a beer Nirvana.”
The project was first announced in 2015 and developed using funds from the group’s Equity for Punks crowdfunding campaign, which has raised over £53m since 2009.
Priority booking for The DogHouse will be given to Equity Punk investors.
In addition to the construction of the hotel, BrewDog is expanding its brewery to include a 300 hl brewhouse and a canning and packaging hall.
The group is also planning to launch a second DogHouse at its brewery in Columbus, Ohio this summer, where guests can enjoy a beer-filled jacuzzi, Malted Barley Massages, Hop Facemasks and other treatments.
