Luxury London hotel and restaurant to open across six townhouses

A new luxury hotel with a ‘destination restaurant’ is set to open in a restored Georgian terrace in the City of London in 2020.

The as-yet unnamed project will span five floors across six townhouses, forming part of the One Crown Place mixed-use development close to London Liverpool Street station.

A press release announcing the launch says each of the six spaces will have a ‘unique personality’, with ground floor communal areas interlinked by a public deli, café, art gallery, club lounge and library.

The hotel will also feature a 100-cover destination restaurant and bar, including a covered courtyard, and private members’ club.

Bespoke Hotels – the UK’s largest independent hotel group - has been appointed to operate 41 bedrooms at the property, under the management of AlloyMtd and CBRE.

“The development will be a stunning landmark for London, further galvanising an area that has developed remarkably in recent years, with the hotel a key ingredient within this,” says Haydn Fentum, CEO of Bespoke Hotels.

The hotel is scheduled to open early 2020, with premier double rooms starting from £295 a night.

It will sit alongside One Crown Place’s 246 luxury aparments and 140,000 sq ft of office space.

Other upcoming London hotel developments with possible restaurants to watch include The Mandarin Oriental Mayfair (2021), and the unnamed hotel in Admiralty Arch on The Mall (2022).

Rosewood, whose London hotel houses Holborn Dining Room, is also set to launch a new hotel brand this year.
