The brand, run by business partners Chris Williams and Javier Mellado, opened the flagship Silk Road earlier this year in Heswall, Wirral.
The new restaurant comes as a result of the owners’ five-figure investment into the business.
The restaurant will serve a menu influenced by the Silk Road trade routes, running from the Pacific of East China to the Mediterranean Sea.
Dishes include the likes of Laos moneybags filled with pork; beef kebabs with yoghurt, spiced tomato sauce, paprika and Moroccan salad; Persian lamb with rosemary and garlic; Malaysian steak with hoisin, teriyaki, soy and couscous; South Indian buttered black prawns; and Columbo tamarind curry with chapatti bread
The menu is designed to be ordered as tapas style dishes to be shared by the table.
“It is all about the sharing and enjoyment of eating and tasting some amazing flavours as they have done along the Silk Road route for centuries”, the restaurant’s website says.
