Dockyard Social reveals stellar trader lineup and warehouse location
Glasgow pop-up outfit Section 33 launched Dockyard Social, its Dinerama-esque street food market last week, revealing its initial trader line-up.

The permanent address of the project, a large warehouse at 95-107 Haugh Road, was also revealed following months of secrecy and speculation.

Owner Kyle Steel likens Dockyard Social to Dinerama in London, and will rotate food traders as the project progresses, in a similar way to how Street Feast operates.

The vendors at the project are carefully selected to provide a variety of world food options, and care is taken to ensure that they are ethical.

Dockyard Social runs with an initiative to offer culinary training to the city’s unemployed and disadvantaged people as well as boosting the city’s street food scene.

Dockyard Social’s initial line-up:

Chompsky - the popular Glaswegian trader is serving baos including a vegetarian choice of panko Korean fried tofu with gochujang garlic glaze, or a meatier option of bulgogi braised beef brisket with sesame crumb and caramelised Asian pear
