Bon appétit: Parisian brand Cojean is opening a second London site

Healthy Parisian fast-food outfit Cojean will opening its second London site on 27 November on Berkeley Street.

The Mayfair opening follows the success of the brand’s first UK site, located in Ludgate Hill in the City, which opened in 2015.

The restaurant will serve breakfast and lunch options, a range of salads, sandwiches, soups and breakfast items, as well as a selection of juices.

Cojean’s menu is 40% vegetarian, and also offers a wide selection of vegan and gluten free options, including vegetable lasagne; vegan chia seeds pot; coconut drink; Thai green curry ; and ‘chili sin carne’ (made with soy mince and kidney beans).

Both London sites will be launching Christmas menus, starting from 20 November in Ludgate Hill and 4 December at the new Berkeley Street location. Menu items will comprise turkey and cranberry bloomer sandwiches; mini veggie Christmas rolls with pumpkin, ash goats’ cheese, pecans and baby spinach; and yoghurt pots with chestnut cream topped with spiced Belgian speculoos biscuit.

Spanning two floors, the site will have 34 covers on the ground floor and 24 on the lower ground.

Interiors, in keeping with the Ludgate Hill site, will feature clean lines with blues and whites, with messaging on the walls describing the 10 Cojean values.

The restaurant group is committed to minimising food waste and recycling as much as possible, and 68% of its packaging is eco-designed. It gives 10% of its profits to its charity the Nourrir Aimer Donner Foundation, which aims to fight poverty in some of the world’s poorest communities.

Cojean began in Paris in 2001, and currently operates 26 sites in the French capital.
