ETM to add Broadleaf to its rapidly expanding portfolio
Broadleaf will open on Old Broad Street in November, and will be owner ETM’s 14th venue. The group is part way through rapid expansion plans, with three more venues set to open over the coming year.
The new 200-cover bar and restaurant will serve lunch and dinner. Its brasserie-style dishes will use local and seasonal ingredients, with a drinks menu serving botanical-inspired cocktails and teas as well as tank beer. A ‘bottomless brunch’ offer will run on Saturdays.
Designed by Russell Stage Studio, the interior will be inspired by Victorian tropical glasshouses, featuring brass and copper finishes, botanical themed walls and tropical taxidermy. The site’s outdoor area will be sheltered, and decorated with tropical planters.
An upstairs lounge will be available for private hire.
In 2016 ETM appointed Landen Prescott Brann, formerly of Itsu, as its chief financial officer, and has reported continued improvements in site efficiencies. The choice of venue for Broadleaf is around the corner from The Botanist at Broadgate Circle.
The venue has exceeded its trade expectations and serves over 250,000 people per month, according to the company.

The ETM group is responsible for a host of successful venues including Aviary, The Botanist Broadgate Circle and Sloane Square, Greenwood and The Jugged Hare.
