A third Boxpark is opening... in Wembley

Pop-up mall Boxpark is coming to Wembley next year.

Boxpark Wembley will be the third Boxpark, joining sites in Shoreditch and Croydon.

The new mall will ‘evolve London’s food and beverage landscape’, according to Boxpark, with 20 units that established and independent food operators will occupy.

It describes the site as ‘a cultural hub’ with more than 200 events throughout the year, including live music, talks and workshops.

Boxpark Wembley will have a 2,000-capacity events space and a separate 300-capacity venue when it opens in late 2018 in Olympic Way, Wembley Park.

“We look forward to working closely with Quintain, Brent Council and the other venue operators on the site, to develop a world class food, drink and entertainment destination, and possibly the best fan park in the world," says Roger Wade, founder and chief executive of Boxpark.

Boxpark says it will begin the process of letting the units to traders from London and across the world in the coming months.

It will join The SSE Arena, London Designer Outlet, which includes shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops, a Hilton Hotel, and Cineworld on the 85-acre site.

The first Boxpark opened in Shoreditch in 2010, followed by the second in Croydon, which opened in October last year. Boxpark Croydon features 35 traders set over 70 shipping containers with a capacity for 2,000.
