Caravan and JKS Restaurants among Bloomberg Arcade line-up

The majority of the restaurants lined up for the new Bloomberg Arcade development in the City of London have been confirmed

As previously flagged up by BigHospitality's sister title MCA, Bleecker Burger, Koya, Caravan, Vinoteca, Homeslice and Brigadiers – a new concept by JKS Restaurants - have now all been confirmed to open at the scheme, which will launch later this autumn.

Ahi Poke is the seventh of an eventual 10 F&B operators set to open at the development.

MCA previously highlighted that Andrew Wong, the chef behind the acclaimed Chinese restaurant A. Wong, is also rumoured to be in line to launch a new concept at the scheme.

Legendary chef Pierre Koffmann and Sourced Market have also been linked with the development.

Brigadiers – the concept created by the team behind Michelin-starred Gymkhana – will serve classic Indian barbecue cuisine in a space inspired by a traditional Indian Army mess.

The full restaurant line-up has been curated by Bloomberg food critic Richard Vines in consultation with food writer and restaurant adviser Nicholas Lander.

Vines says: “In selecting restaurants for Bloomberg Arcade we wanted to do two things: First, we wanted people doing something creative. We didn’t want another sandwich shop, another coffee bar; we wanted something original, people with new ideas and fresh approaches to food. Second, we wanted diversity: Cuisines from different parts of the world and different styles of service.

"Choosing the restaurants was like playing a food version of fantasy football and we’ve got some of the biggest names in the business.”

Once complete, the new Bloomberg European headquarters will comprise two buildings connected by glazed bridges across a retail arcade that bisects the site.

It will also provide approximately 500,000 sq ft of sustainable office space.
