Westgate Oxford confirms three further restaurants

Westgate Oxford, the upcoming food and retail development, has confirmed three new operators for its £440m site.

Shawa Lebanese Grill, Rola Wala and Benito’s Hat will join brands including Polpo, Sticks’n’Sushi and Cinnamon Kitchen at the scheme.

Both Pizza Pilgrims and Dirty Bones will also launch their first restaurants outside London at the development when it opens later this year.

The 800,000 sq.ft Westgate Oxford scheme will be anchored by a 140,000 sq.ft John Lewis and feature the city’s first public roof garden.

"Oxford is a wonderful city full of culture, beautiful architecture and history,” said Russell Norman, co-owner of Polpo.

“We’re so lucky to have found such a central spot through Westgate Oxford, tucked amongst the historic castle and towering spires. We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome the city in for some good food, good wine, old-school hospitality and of course a Venetian Spritz or two!”

Westgate Oxford is a joint development between Land Securities and The Crown Estate.
