Josh Eggleton announces stellar chef guest series
Michelin-starred chef Josh Eggleton is to collaborate with top chefs including Simon Hulstone, Emily Watkins, and Dominic Chapman in a new guest series.

Between 25 April and 21 November, each visiting chef will cook at Eggleton’s family gastropub, The Pony & Trap in Chew Magna, and offer a six-course tasting menu co-curated by Eggleton.

The first evening will be held on 25 April, featuring chef Michael Bremner, chef-owner at Brighton restaurant 64 Degrees, and finalist on the BBC’s Great British Menu.

Dominic Chapman, of The Beehive in Berkshire, will cook next on May 23.

Tommy Banks ‒ forager, farmer, Michelin-starred chef at The Black Swan in North Yorkshire, and also Great British Menu finalist ‒ will cook on 29 June.

Norwich-based Richard Bainbridge of Benedict’s (another GBM finalist) will cook on 25 July; followed by Tom Brown, head chef at the Michelin-starred Outlaw’s at The Capital, on 22 August.

Emily Watkins, chef-proprietor at the Kingham Plough and former Fat Duck chef, will cook on 19 September.

Simon Hulstone of Michelin-starred, three AA Rosette The Elephant in Torquay, will join Eggleton on the pass on 17 October, followed by New Zealander chef and Porthleven-based owner of Kota restaurant, Jude Kereama, who will cook on 21 November.

Menus for each night will be revealed shortly ahead of the dinners, which are available to book online.

Eggleton runs The Pony & Trap with his sister Holly, and their parents. He also runs the Salt & Malt site, and is director of Yurt Lush at Eat Drink Bristol Fashion near Bristol Temple Meads train station.
