First Dirty Liquor partnership pub to open in Walthamstow

Dirty Liquor – the Ei Managed Investments partnership between Enterprise Inns and publican partners Hugh O’Boyle and Caroline Jones ‒ is to launch its first venue, The Dog and Duck, in Walthamstow.

The restaurant and bar, which is due to open in spring, will feature an open-plan kitchen serving sourdough pizza as well as a cinema area that will screen sporting events and film nights. It will also have a large outdoor space with cabana huts, a pop-up food trailer and seasonal market stalls.

O’Boyle and Jones also run The Duke pub on Walthamstow’s Wood Street, the Lord Morpeth in Bow, The Black Horse in Deptford, and Tiger in Hackney Wick. They have worked with Enterprise for 16 years. “We love Walthamstow, so when the opportunity came up to take another site in the area we jumped at it,” says Jones. “It’s a very exciting partnership for us.”

“[Jones and O’Boyle] have a wealth of experience and expertise which will breathe new life into The Dog and Duck and help it to thrive,” says Nathan Wall, operations director at Ei Managed Investments. “We’ve been working closely with them to develop the concept for the pub and we’re really looking forward to seeing it come to fruition.”

Enterprise Inns was founded in 1991 and now runs 5,000 pubs across England and Wales.
