Giraffe starts estate revamp at London Victoria restaurant
Giraffe, the Boparan Restaurant Holdings-owned restaurant brand, has kicked off a revamp of its 45-strong estate at its London Victoria site.

The new-look site has re-opened under the Giraffe World Kitchen name with a new vibrant interior featuring artwork inspired by India and Thailand, Moroccan pendant lights, 'global inspired' patterned tiles and colourful furniture.

A host of new dishes from around the world, such as Turkish pide flatbreads and American BBQ beef short rib, have also been added to the menu.

The new look will be rolled out to 15 more sites this year with the rest of the estate expected to follow at a later date.

Giraffe World Kitchen managing director Tom Crowley said: "We are very excited to be re-opening Giraffe World Kitchen in the heart of the Central London with our new look, sharing our passion for world cuisine with the community. We love discovering delicious tastes and flavours from all corners of the world and bringing them back to share, its what Giraffe World Kitchen is all about.”

Last September, BigHospitality's sister publication MCA Insight broke the news that the restaurant group, sold to Boparan Restaurant Holdings by Tesco in June, would be trialling the new look and menu at its Basingstoke site.

The company, which also operates four sites in the UAE, said it would extend the look to more sites if it was a success and was actively looking for more sites for further expansion of the concept.
