The new additions were announced following the first live ceremony to launch the 2017 Michelin Guide in London today (3 October).
The Bib Gourmand recognises both quality and value of food, and is awarded to restaurants serving three courses for under £28.
Fifteen London restaurants received the awards, including pasta restaurant Padella in Borough Market and the Sethi sibling’s third restaurant Hoppers.
Instagram favourite Bao – famous for its permanent queues – was given a Bib Gourmand for its Soho site, while chef Adam Byatt gained an award for Upstairs at Trinity after winning his first star for sister restaurant Trinity.
Though Manchester missed out on a Michelin Star once again, tapas restaurant El Gato Negro, which relocated to the city from Ripponden in 2015, gained a Bib Gourmand.
