The company, which owns and operates Dunblane hotel and brasserie Old Churches House, hotel and restaurant the Red Brolly Inn near Pitlochry and Logierait Lodges, took over the lease for the pub from Iona Pub Partnerships earlier this month.
Renamed The Golf Inn, the venue is being put through a £90k 'rolling' refurbishment programme, which will include the revamp of six bedrooms.
Fusion Group managing director Alex McKie said the site was a well-known one to many en route to the famous Old Andrews Old Course, but was due a revamp.
He said: “We are delighted to have acquired this site, formerly trading as a Public House, which in my mind is ready for a re-invention.
"We will have an all day kitchen, family friendly brasserie and bar over two floors that will seat around one hundred people, and a little sun terrace too. I believe that we will fit into the local market quite well, and also bring some new offerings too, such as The Golf Inn's six high quality bedrooms which have not been an obvious part of the business in the past.“
Work is due to be completed by July.
Fusion Group will also be appointing a management team to run the venue.
