The Newcastle Eldon Square site is expected to open in November this year, and will follow this week’s opening of the Meadowhall Sheffield location.
Allibhoy confirmed that the group had plans to expand further and had a “long list of places” in which he believed the concept would perform well. He also explained that menu development was a constant factor, and each new location would see new dishes and drinks added to its choices.
Speaking to BigHospitality, Allibhoy said: “We have the capacity to do more sites as we have a fantastic team that are keen to grow. We want to continue to develop our people and a great incentive for them is to see more Tapas Revolutions.
“Each of our tapas bars are tailored to the location. We constantly look to improve our design, bringing all the Spanish touches without just resorting to the usual flags.”
Tapas Revolution was first opened by Spanish chef Allibhoy in 2010 at the Westfield Shopping Centre in west London, and now has five sites across the UK, including in London’s Shoreditch, and the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.
It offers a wide selection of traditional Spanish tapas foods, including cheese and hams, fish, and meat platters.
