The company has partnered with American booking site Hotels By Day to offer morning and afternoon rooms for a reduced price in seven of its central London sites.
It follows a boom in hourly bookings in the capital, with hotels being urged to use ‘daycationers’ to boost occupancy levels over 100 per cent.
With the UK hotel sector set to see continued growth over the next year, an increasing number of operators are monetising the trend to generate revenue during the day.
Hotels By Day said in a statement: “Londoners can now to check-in early, check-out late, or book a short term room to conduct a business meeting or recover from a redeye flight.
“Families can nap or have downtime between touring London’s most popular attractions, guests can get ready for big events like weddings, and couples can escape stress by enjoying a relaxing daystay.”
The Thistle partnership marks the London launch of the American day-time booking service, which is aiming to offer short-term stays in the capitals' top four and five-star hotels.
Daytime micro-stays have been tipped as the next big hotel trend, with a host of companies including Dayuse, ByHours and Yotel already offering hourly booking as standard.
