Atherton’s Social Company to host Kerridge, Bains and Bosi
Jason Atherton’s the Social Company is to host chefs Tom Kerridge, Sat Bains and Claude Bosi at this year’s second annual fundraising ‘Social Sunday’ for industry charity Hospitality Action.

Suppliers and chefs will be donating their products and hours for free on Sunday 5 June, with each of the group’s seven London restaurants also taking part. Each event will be priced from £90-£500 depending on the site, with all the money made going to support Hospitality Action.

Kerridge, Bains, and Bosi will join Atherton at his Michelin-starred flagship site Pollen Street Social, while Atherton will also host a private 16-person dinner on 6 June at the London Edition hotel, home to the chef’s Berners Tavern restaurant with Phil Carmichael.

Frenchie chef Greg Marchand is set to cook across from Pollen Street at Little Social, using produce brought over from his trip to markets in France.

The Michelin-starred Social Eating House will then see head chef Paul Hood joining forces with Tom Sellers of Restaurant Story; City Social will welcome 100 Wardour Street chef Liam Smith-Laing to cook with executive chef Paul Walsh; and Social Wine & Tapas will see Barrafina’s Nieves Barragán-Mohacho cooking with head chef Frankie Van Loo.

Sosharu, the most recent addition to the Social Company group, will see its chef patron Alex Craicun demonstrate an omakase-style menu, which is set to be launched at the site’s fine-dining chef’s table, Kisetsu, later this year.

Hospitality Action is the industry’s benevolent charity, supporting current and previous workers who have fallen on hard times, both emotionally or financially.
