Bob Bob Ricard owner to open restaurant at The Leadenhall Building

The, as yet unnamed, 180-cover all-booth restaurant will open on the third floor of the 32-floor building and will serve a modern British grill menu. 

It will also include a range of private dining rooms to accommodate anywhere between four and 40 guests with a nine-seater Japanese dining room serving sushi, sashimi and tempura. 

Shutov, who opened Bob Bob Ricard in Soho in 2008, said the newly-built Leadenhall Building was the 'ideal location' for his new restaurant concept. 

"The restaurant will break new ground in both design and culinary offering and will deliver an interior that is both urban and contemporary," he said. 

Shutov's decision to open at The Leadenhall Building means that 95 per cent of the building is now let or under offer. 

The Leadenhall Building, which is owned by British Land and Oxford Properties, is now 95 per cent let or under offer. 

Chris Carter Keall, head of asset management at Oxford Properties, said: “As part of our placemaking strategy to enliven the public realm, we are also working to deliver two further outlets at ground floor level to provide a diverse offering to our occupiers and diners in the City.”
