Icebar London set for second London site in 2016
The bar, which takes inspiration from the world-famous Icehotel, will aim to create a ‘fully immersive ice experience’ as it looks to expand on the success of its sister bar, located in the West End.
The bar will be entirely crafted from snow and ice harvested from The Torne River in the Arctic Circle. A warm lodge will also be installed in the project which will comprise of a reception and ‘snug’.
The owners are looking for a site that is between 5,000 and 8,000sq.ft in Central London locations including the West End, Midtown and Southbank.
Lunson Mitchenall have been appointed to assist with the project.
Alex de Pommes, ICEBAR London, said: “We see huge potential for a new concept bar in London. With Lunson Mitchenall’s impressive range of contacts within the landlord and developer community, it was the obvious choice for us. Its catering and leisure team is very well respected in the market and we look forward to working with them.”
Nick Hartwell, Director, Lunson Mitchenall, added: “The London leisure market is continually evolving and we’re seeing new concepts open every week. Icebar London has recognised the increasing demand for its unique offer and we are delighted to be working with the team on its expansion plans.”
