‘Super-budget’ plans in pipeline for EasyHotel

The scale of opportunity for a super-budget hotel chain is ‘much greater than previously anticipated’, according to budget hotel chain, EasyHotel.

EasyHotel’s new management team has accelerated the company’s plans to target the opportunity in the sector after it released its annual financial report.

The chain’s new chief executive, Guy Parsons, said that the basis of its business model and strategy is ‘sound’, opening the possibility of entering the super-budget hotel market.

“We have made key changes to our operations and management structure and we have the opportunity to increase significantly the pace at which we open hotels and firmly establish ourselves as the leading branded super budget hotel operator,” he said.

“We also conducted a thorough review of the UK and European hotel markets, which has helped us to identify a number of towns and cities where we wish to have owned or franchised EasyHotels.”
