The Ledbury tops OpenTable’s top 100 UK restaurants

Two Michelin-starred restaurant, The Ledbury, has topped OpenTable’s annual list of the 100 best restaurants in the UK.

The contemporary European cuisine restaurant, headed by Australian chef Brett Graham, ranked the highest on the website based on consumer reviews.

Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Restaurant Story London, Typing Room and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, completed the top five.

Of the top 100 restaurants, over a quarter (26) served British cuisine, followed by 18 European and 13 French. Brighton’s Food for Friends was the only vegetarian/vegan restaurant to make the list.

Mike Xenakis, managing director of OpenTable International, said:“The restaurant reviews left by diners are of the upmost importance, giving helpful opinions and advice to other OpenTable users, ensuring they discover the right dining experience every time.

“As this year’s results show, London continues to reign as the foodie capital but we are excited to see restaurants from across the UK, including Manchester, Newcastle, Brighton and Canterbury, also included in the list. We are extremely pleased to highlight these standout restaurants and give them, and their hard working chefs and staff, some well-deserved recognition.”
