Art'otel to operate Battersea Power Station hotel
The company, which currently operates six hotels under the Art'otel brand across Europe, today signed a hotel management agreement with Battersea Power Station shareholders Battersea Power Station Development (BPSDC) to run the hotel, which is scheduled to open in 2019.
Plans for the Battersea Power Station Art'otel include an outdoor rooftop pool and roof garden, restaurant and double height bar with views of the Power Station and London skyline.

Art’otel was a standout winner, a brand unlike anything we have seen in London to date, and it is particularly fitting for it to have art at the very heart of the brand and the hotel itself. I am confident that together with Art’otel we will deliver a beyond expectations hotel.”

The brand currently operates two hotels in Berlin, one in Dresden, one in Cologne, one in Budapest and one in Amsterdam with each one associated with a signature artist. PPHE said it was yet to reveal art'otel London's signature artist but it was likely to be an acclaimed local or national one.

Development of the hotel forms part of Phase 3 of the £8bn Battersea Power Station development. Designed by Gehry Partners and Foster & Partners, Phase 3, also known as Electric Boulevard will include 1,300 homes, and a high street lined with shops and restaurants.
