As reported by BigHospitality's sister publication M&C Allegra Foodservice in July, the Richard Caring-backed group will open the Ivy Café on the Union Café site in Marylebone Lane.
As revealed by M&C last week, the investor has also secured the Pavillion restaurant site in Kensington High Street for what is expected to be called The Ivy Kensington Brasserie.
The group currently operates two sites under its fledgling Ivy Market Grill format, in Covent Garden and Chelsea.
The concept, which includes Mark Askew, former executive head chef at Gordon Ramsay Holding, as a director, is believed to eyeing a number of sites both in London and the regions for openings over the next few years.
It is thought that the company is currently exploring long-term opportunities for the Market format regionally with sites in Bath, Brighton and Guildford under consideration.
The company opened the second site under the concept on the former Henry J Beans site in London’s Chelsea earlier this year. The fledgling format made its debut last December in Covent Garden. Caring had previously mooted a launch of the then titled Ivy Café concept back in 2011.
