The operator, named 'worst hotel chain in the UK’ by a Which? consumer survey for the past two years running, has added the 119-room seafront site to its growing portfolio.
It is the fourth hotel acquired by the group this year, which is the largest privately owned hotel company in Europe.
Britannia Hotels' total estate now stands at over 9000 bedrooms across 51 hotels and Pontins Holiday Parks.
Specialist property advisors Christie + Co handled the sale.
