ICMI takes over management of Fasque House

Inverlochy Castle Management International (ICMI) has boosted its hotel and events portfolio by taking over the management of exclusive-use venue Fasque House.

The 19-bedroom Scottish mansion in Aberdeenshire, which plays host to weddings, corporate events and private functions, becomes the eleventh venue to be managed by ICMI, joining the likes of Andy Murray's Cromlix House hotel in Dunblane and Inverlochy Castle in Fort William.

Under the deal, ICMI will manage all aspects of Fasque House's operations, including staffing and marketing.

The property, which sits on a 400-acre country estate, re-opened two years ago following an £11 million refurbishment by Douglas and Heather Dick-Reid.

ICMI managing director Norbert Lieder said: “Fasque House is a perfect fit for ICMI – stunning architecture, luxurious interiors and a unique offer as a large exclusive use venue capable of catering for up to 150 people, even more with a marquee.

“I commend Douglas and Heather Dick-Reid for their work on both the interior and exterior of the venue – the attention to detail and design is some of the best I have seen."

Douglas Dick-Reid said: “We are aware of Fasque’s potential to become one of Europe’s top exclusive-use venues and we know that ICMI, which is responsible for the development and management of a number of the UK’s top privately owned luxury hotels and venues, is the right partner for us."
