At the time of writing a total of £711,250 has been raised from 185 investors, in return for a 16.75 per cent equity in the business.
With an annual turnover of £3.2m in 2014, Filmore & Union is hoping to open 30 sites with a combined turnover of £20m in the next five years.
New sites
The group is using the Crowdcube funding to open a 56-cover Filmore & Union café, restaurant and bar in Ilkey on 3 August.
A 130-cover restaurant, the largest Filmore & Union to date, will launch in Station parade in Harrogate on 31 August
The company will also open their first East Yorkshire site in the market town of Beverley early in September, seating 86-covers over two floors.
Continuing investor interest
Founded in 2011 by Michelin trained chef Will Pugh and wellness clinic owner Adele Carnell, Filmore & Union currently operates seven sites across Yorkshire.
Carnell said: “It’s been amazing to have been supported by so many people who love our food and concept and we can’t thank everyone enough for their investment and support so far.
“We’ve decided to extend our fundraising period as we’re still getting so much interest so we want to make sure that everyone who wants to has the opportunity to invest in us.
“Achieving our crowdfunding target means that we can make pure, natural and wholesome food accessible to more people across the North of England which is so exciting for us!”
