World's 50 Best Restaurants 2015: 100-51 list announced

Four UK restaurants feature on the list. St John​, owned by Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver, has fallen to 92nd place, down from 55th last year.

London’s Hedone​ has risen to 60th place, up from 63rd position. 

Shoreditch’s The Clove Club​ has risen to 55th place, up from 87th last year.

Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck​ has dropped out of the top 50 to 73rd position, after being ranked 47th in 2014. The restaurant, which topped the list in 2005, is currently closed for six month’s refurbishment and is set to re-open in late 2015.

The list features 11 first-time entrants, including Copenhagen’s Amass, Lisbon’s Belcanto and Mikla in Istanbul. Canada has featured on the 50-100 list for the first time since 2010, with Joe Beef of Montreal debuting at number 81.

The restaurants ranked 50th-1st will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Guildhall in London on 1 June.
