Roomzzz to open aparthotel at Manchester Corn Exchange

The 114-apartment hotel will be the second site in the city for the brand, which revealed its 'New Generation' concept​ at its Chester site last week. 

Opening next year, Roommzzz Manchester Corn Exchange will join 13 new restaurants and four retained restaurants at the Grade II listed building, which has been subject to works since October last year. 

Simon Green, from Corn Exchange owners Aviva Property Investors Trust, said: “The vision is to create a new legacy destination for the city and Roomzzz Aparthotel, along with the top class range of restaurants, will cement the future fortunes of Corn Exchange and spearhead the regeneration of this part of the city centre.” 

Multiple sites​

Mark Walton, head of Roomzzz Aparthotel UK said occupancy at its existing Manchester property on Princess Street was at 100 per cent week on week, so a second location close by would be a 'game-changer' for the brand.

When open the hotel's entrance will be at Exchange Square with accommodation situated on the second, third, fourth and fifth floors.   

It will join restaurant brands such as Wahaca, Pho, Vapiano and Cabana when it opens next year.
