Weaver’s House Spa will offer a range of over 30 treatments and features six treatment rooms, a steam room, hot stone sauna, an outdoor vitality pool, and a retail boutique.
The development represents a major investment for the company, which follows QHotels and Rockliffe Hall in launching spa facilities this year.
“We have long had ambitions to enter the spa market and in Weavers’ I believe we have delivered a truly market leading take on a treatment based spa,” said managing director Grahame Tinnion.
Intelligent design
Located in the medieval wool town of Lavenham the Swan Hotel is a listed building, meaning the spa design had to remain sympathetic to its surroundings.
Architect and designer Roger Balmersaid: “Our rational behind the build was to create a cool, calm environment that worked well with the beautiful older buildings.
“The building has excellent environmental credentials with heating provided by a deep ground source heat pump and most of the water coming from an onsite borehole.”
The TA Hotel Collection is one of East Anglia’s leading independent tourism businesses, operating luxury hotels and businesses located across Suffolk.
Weaver’s House Spa will open at the Swan Hotel in Lavenham on 30 March.
