The app, launched at the end of 2013, was one of 10 products, from equipment to food and drink that are used by the hospitality industry, that was shortlisted for the award.
Recognised for its innovative technology, Orderella effectively turns a person's smartphone into a mobile waiter, allowing hospitality operators to manage orders on a cloud-based solution. It also allows customers to make payments.

Held every two years at The Hospitality Show in Birmingham, the Star Product Awards, aim to single out the best and most innovative products for the industry.
The judges also gave special mentions to Gram’s SUPERIORPLUS 72 – a refrigeration cabinet with a revolutionary sustainable design and the VENTA modular buffet system by Signature FSE.
