Orderella wins Star Product at The Hospitality Show
The app, launched at the end of 2013, was one of 10 products, from equipment to food and drink that are used by the hospitality industry, that was shortlisted for the award.
Recognised for its innovative technology, Orderella effectively turns a person's smartphone into a mobile waiter, allowing hospitality operators to manage orders on a cloud-based solution. It also allows customers to make payments.
Orderella chief executive Dennis Collett said: “We are delighted to have been recognised by our industry peers with this award, which is always hotly contested and showcases the best of the hospitality sector.
"Today’s mobile technology is a great enabler for the pubs, bars and restaurants we serve and we are extremely proud of what we have achieved in a relatively short period of time. In 2015 we are continuing to focus on meeting the emerging needs of this increasingly tech-savvy industry and the customers they serve.”
