Nestlé Professional launches Nescafé Azera sachets into foodservice

Following its success in retail, Nestlé Professional has launched its Nescafé Azera Cappuccino and Latte variants to the out-of-home market.

Product details:

Nescafé Azera Cappuccino and Latte is a blend of instant coffee, finely ground roasted coffee beans with skimmed milk powder, sugar and vegetable oil which produces a coffee with a 'velvety froth' when water is added. The company's 'barista-style' coffee brand's out-of-home product is available in boxes of 50 sachets.

USP:

The sachets can be made up in minutes by staff at pubs or other businesses where there is no coffee machine, allowing them to offer coffee of a consistent quality even when trained baristas are not on hand, says Nestlé Professional.

Why you should buy it:

Cappuccino and Latte are now the most popular coffees to be purchased out-of-home according to Allegra and the profit-boosting opportunities for high quality are 'immense' says Lynn Little, Nestlé Ingredients lead at Nestlé Professional.

"Hot beverages provide a valuable revenue stream during non-peak times, with 60 per cent of consumers willing to buy coffee between noon and 5pm when out with their partner, friends or family," she says.

“However, somewhere in the region of 99 million ‘lost’ coffee sales in the out-of-home market can be attributed to poor quality, as people are happier to go without than to settle on a product that’s less than perfect.  As consumers have come to expect barista-style coffee wherever they go, including pubs, there’s a clear opportunity to deliver a product that guarantees speed, consistency and quality.”
