The awards, which celebrate good practice in hotel marketing, took place at The Savoy Hotel in London on 15 December.
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester won three of the top marketing awards, while the Radisson Blu group also took the ‘wild card’ prize for marketing innovation.
The award for Young Marketer of the Year went to Sookie Shuen of The Hotel Collection, who the judges commended for her ‘can do approach’ and ‘passion for her art’. In addition to her award, Shuen received a one-day course at the Chartered Institute of Marketing at Moor Hall in Berkshire.
Chairman of the Hotel Marketing Association Ed Purnell said: “The breadth of entries that we received this year demonstrated just how technical marketing has become.
“The best campaigns and products this year were those that were thought out smartly and that worked collaboratively with other departments to achieve greater brand connection with their targeted audiences.”
