All-day bar and grill The Queensbury Kitchen opened in the Willesden area of London on 10 December.

The restaurant is the second venture from the team behind The Queensbury gastro pub, also situated in north-west London.

The Queensbury Kitchen is located on Walm Lane in Willesden Green. It has 50 covers and is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as brunch on weekends.

The restaurant serves ‘grill favourites’ and other British dishes as well as cocktails and craft beers.

The interior of the restaurant has been designed to give a ‘warm yet edgy’ feel. There are long wooden tables for communal dining, as well as smaller tables and seats at the bar. It also features ‘contemporary’ white tiles, urban light fixtures, and ‘rustic’ wood accents throughout.

General manager at The Queensbury Kitchen Stephanie Peel said: “As the general manager at The Queensbury Pub I have enjoyed running it for a number of years. I have seen the community grow and feel a real sense of community pride in the area.

“The Queensbury Kitchen is something new and we hope that it is warmly embraced. Customer service is a top priority on my list of expectations alongside fantastic quality food and drinks to complement it. We embrace feedback, both positive and negative, in a bid to grow and give the community what it wants.”

The menu

Head chef at The Queensbury pub Wayne Bumfrey is overseeing the kitchen at its new sister restaurant. He has created a menu which focuses on fresh British ingredients and a number of different meats done on the grill.

“As a highly experienced head chef I expect nothing less than fresh, homemade, quality produce,” said Bumfrey.

“A country boy at heart, I know how to source good ingredients and bring them to the table. Food is the focal point of The Queensbury Kitchen and will continue to be so through simple, top quality produce, and skill.”

In terms of drinks, the bar will serve a range of craft beers from different microbreweries including Brew Dog, Meantime and Camden, alongside cider from Cotswold Cider. There will also be a list of ‘adventurous’ cocktails.
