Vorwerk launches 5th generation Thermomix

Vorwerk has launched the TM5, its fifth multiple function Thermomix model for kitchens, bringing the machine ‘into the digital age’. 

Product details:

The TM5 has multiple functions and can stir, mix, blend, chop, weigh, grind, knead, whisk, simmer, emulsify, cook and steam using one bowl and one blade. It also has a number of digital features with one control knob and a touchscreen.

The Thermomix now comes with a recipe chip, which holds a cookbook of digital recipes and a guided cooking feature. It has a 2.2 litre stainless steel mixing bowl and an automatic locking lid. The motor has speeds of up to 10,700 rpm and there is temperature control in 5 degree intervals from 37 to 120°C. The weighing scales have a total capacity of up to 3kg.

The Thermomix is one machine that can cover a great deal of functions. With this update it has become more digitalised for ease of use, offering the recipe chip with the machine.

Price:

The Thermomix TM5 costs £925 which includes a demonstration, the Basic Cookbook, the Recipe Chip with 166 digital recipes and a 2 year domestic warranty.

In the UK Thermomix is available exclusively from Vorwerk UK Ltd, trading as Thermomix, with head office in Sunningdale, Berkshire.
