Liberty Wines introduces Australia’s La Linea to UK market

A joint venture between David LeMire MW and Peter Leske, La Linea had its first vintage in 2007. Made from Tempranillo grapes, it is produced in the Adelaide Hills in South Australia.

La Linea Adelaide Hills Tempranillo Rosé 2014 (stelvin closure, 12.5 per cent abv) is a dry and tangy rosé sourced from the Llangibby vineyard, a cooler site on shallow grey-brown loam over clay located at 350 metres on the central hills between Echunga and Mount Barker.
La Linea Adelaide Hills Tempranillo 2013 (stelvin closure, 13.5 per cent abv) comes from Amadio Kersbrook, an east-facing vineyard on grey-brown loam between the villages of Kersbrook and Williamstown to the north of the region. The warmer and drier produces earlier-ripening fruit with more tannin and lower acidity, suited to serious red wines.
