Product details:
Tour de Sarrail is a Bordeaux made of 80 per cent Merlot and 20 per cent Cabernet. It is a medium-bodied wine with a defined nose of blackberry, minerals and oak. The palate is balanced with firm tannins, freshness and a slight creaminess to the texture, as well as lots of dark berries which gives a peppery finish.
USP:
The wine has a unique labelling concept, following a tradition that dates back to Baron Phillipe de Rothschild in 1924 when he commissioned poster artist Jean Carlu to create a label for the château. The payment for creating the label was not money, but in cases of wine.
The Vinorium has continued this tradition with the new wine using Kent artist, Graham Clarke.

Why you should buy it:
Founder and director of The Vinorium Stuart McCloskey said: “Here at The Vinorium we stock some of the world’s most rare wines from around the world, we thought it was time to use our knowledge and passion and create our own exclusive wine. The Chateau Tour de Sarrail 2009 can be drunk within 4-6 hours of decanting but there is a lot of substance to this wine and it will require 5-6 years to really come into its own.”
