This year’s festival aims to showcase the best in British culinary talent and Taste of London has teamed up with The Young British Foodies to showcase emerging talents in the industry with an awards programme.
The festival has a new Wednesday evening session with live demonstrations from chefs and the chance for visitors to sample food from popular London restaurants. Chefs will also be showcasing at the Electrolux Taste Theatre.
Tom Kerridge will be making his debut at the festival and international talents including Massimo Bottura of Osteria Francescana in Modena, (number three in The World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards list) and René Redzepi of the world number one restaurant Noma will be in attendance. Regulars such as Michel Roux Jr., Monica Galetti, Alfred Prasad, Ben Tish, Pascal Aussignac, Theo Randall and Daniel Doherty will also be present.
A number of London restaurants will be in attendance to give visitors the opportunity to try tapas sized dishes from their repertoires, including MEATliquor, Duck & Waffle and Salt Yard. A number of different cuisines from around the world will also be on offer.
