High-profile chef James Tanner and his brother Chris are set to open a pub restaurant later this spring near Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, M&C Report understands.

The Tanners, which already run the Tanners restaurant in Plymouth, will open the Kentish Hare in Bidborough this May.

The pair are currently gearing up to open a series of food outlets, including a farm shop, street food hut, and a takeaway fish and chip shop in Looe, Cornwall.

The fish and chip shop, The Catch, is set to open in the summer and will be in the same building as the farm shop and butchery, which will be known as Quayside Fresh, which is set to open next month.

James Tanner is well-known for cooking on the TV show Ready Steady Cook and has had guest appearances on Saturday Kitchen.
