Heavy duty griddles added to Q90 modular range

Twelve gas and seven electric, high performance griddles have been introduced as part of Q90 - the Middleby Group’s 70-piece modular range of 900mm deep commercial catering equipment.

With a choice of smooth, smooth-chrome, fully ribbed and half ribbed/half smooth cooking surfaces, the new heavy duty griddles are ideal for busy commercial kitchens.

Combining UK engineering with Italian style, the Q90 griddles are built to the larger European standard width of either 400mm or 800mm, providing greater capacity than is generally found in UK manufactured equipment.

Their large cooking surfaces - either 320 x 630mm or 720 x 630mm-  are constructed from a special compound material. This delivers rapid heat up and delivery times, together with consistent temperature across the cooking zone.

USP:

The electric griddles are thermostatically controlled, but the gas models offer a choice of thermostatic or manual temperature control. All are constructed from stainless steel, with removable splash guards to the rear and sides.

A shallow five-degree gradient from the rear to the front of each unit facilitates excess oil and debris collection via a removable receptacle mounted within the base cupboard.
